Splish, splash...we were taking a bath!

We had such a treat a couple of weeks ago when our good friends, Terry & Michelle, stopped off in England for a couple of days at the end of their trip to France. Since the four of us spent Christmas together in London 2 years ago, they had seen most of the main sights in and around the city. So, they chose to spend a day in the charming town of Bath. We began the day at the famous baths built centuries ago by the Romans followed by lunch at the Victorian Pump room attached to the baths.

We also visited the Jane Austen Center, played dress up at the Fashion Museum, and toured a Georgian town house on the Royal Cresent. We ended our day laughing at the comedy routine of the Bizarre Bath walk which included funny jokes about the city, amusing observations about the group and quirky magical tricks, some of which left people completely stunned. The following day, we capped our time together at a place we take all of our visitors…the Texas Embassy. As fellow Texans, they thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of country music, Tex-Mex food, and decoration reminiscent of old San Antonio…right in the heart of London. Although we only had a couple of days together, we packed in the memories and fun moments with them once again.
