Home Sweet Home

When we purchased our new house, we knew that it needed updating and tweaking in a few areas.  As with most home remodels, though, the list of things to do became longer as we added further revisions, some gladly and others more surprisingly.  Because of this, we had to split the remodel into a couple of phases, and we just made it through round 1.  Changing doors, converting lights, putting in garage storage, swapping outdated windows, and replacing flooring left a layer of dust on every surface.  Thankfully, the cleaning crew comes tomorrow to scour and scrub the house from top to bottom, just in time for the movers to arrive the next day with all of our belongings.  We are looking forward to settling into our new home, at least until round 2 of the remodel starts in a few weeks.
