Capturing Time & Memories

The end of January marked 2 years since we returned to the United States. Looking back over that period of time, we realized we saw our families more often when we lived in Europe than we do living on the same continent...and we needed to remedy that problem asap.  We decided to take advantage of some strategic holidays like Easter and Memorial Day which offer 3 day weekends.  The Easter bunny found us hunting eggs, with a stop to visit Will Roger’s childhood home, at my mom’s house in Oklahoma.  We then paddled our way through Texas to see Ken’s parents during the crazy and unusual flooding over Memorial weekend.  Despite the rains, we managed a tour of the LBJ Library and playtime in Cabela’s outdoor store.  Regardless of the location, we found ourselves retelling fun memories, going through old photos, and simply enjoying the time shared.  Although long weekends never feel long enough, we appreciate those moments we can steal away with the ones we hold dear to our hearts!
