Well, after 3 wonderful weeks together, mom boarded the plane yesterday to head back home. Our time was full of fantastic moments, lots of sight seeing, wonderful conversation, and of course, eating yummy treats. Mom even used the time to learn some useful French phrases like bonjour (hello), au revoir (goodbye), merci (thank you), pain au chocolat (chocolate pastry), and deux chocolat chaud (2 hot chocolate). She is becoming quite the linguist…at least the important words. Naturally after spending so much time together and sharing such fun memories, saying goodbye was a bit tough.
Thankfully, “we will always have Paris”...
