Trip of Biblical Proportions
A few weeks ago, Ken and I fulfilled one of our long time travel dreams...we walked in the footsteps of Jesus, the disciples, King David and numerous other people whose stories fill the pages of the Bible. We could not have asked for a better time full of reflection and awe through a country steeped in cultural and spiritual history.
Gazing to the Temple Mount (Mount Moriah) from the Mount of Olives
Ken reflecting and praying at the Western "Wailing" Wall
Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered
Taking an afternoon "swim" in the Dead Sea
"Siesta time" on top of the Temple Mount
Theatre ruins in biblical Beth Shean
Felt like we were walking on water as we sailed on the Sea of Galilee
Taking a stroll through the Mount of Olives
